Plant hire, crushing and civils are heavily regulated. This page sets out the legislation, standards and registrations that govern how PGK operates in Northern Ireland, Great Britain and Ireland.
Safe, legal and documented — every hire, every site
We plan every job around the people who will be near our machines. That means competent operators, inspected plant, clear method statements and the environmental permissions in place before work starts.
Our health and safety, environmental, quality and equality policies are reviewed by the Director and are available to clients on request, together with insurance certificates, plant inspection records, operator competence records and our waste carrier certificate (registration CBDU667500).

What we hold and what we provide
Registered waste carrier, broker & dealer
Upper tier registration CBDU667500 with the Environment Agency under the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011, valid to 8 October 2029. The number is quoted on every waste transfer note. View the certificate (PDF).
Insurance
Employers' liability insurance as required by law, together with public liability and plant insurance. Certificates are supplied with quotations on request.
Plant inspection & maintenance
Daily operator checks, planned servicing and LOLER thorough examinations for lifting equipment, with records available for audit.
Competent operators
Operators are trained and experienced on the machines they run, inducted to each site and supervised throughout the hire.
RAMS for every operated hire
Site-specific risk assessments and method statements prepared in line with CDM 2015 and your site rules.
