Mobile crushing & screening on your site
Process concrete, brick, asphalt and excavated material into graded aggregate where it lies — cutting lorry movements, disposal costs and programme risk.
Crushers, screeners and the crews to run them
PGK supplies mobile jaw and impact crushers with matched scalping and finishing screeners, available as plant-only hire or as a fully operated processing package with loading excavator, fuel and crew. We regularly work on live, operational sites where dust, noise and traffic have to be managed tightly.
Typical hires run from a week to several months. For larger quantities we can offer a fixed price per tonne or per programme so your costs are known from the outset.
- Jaw and impact crushers for concrete, brick, asphalt and rock
- Scalping and finishing screens for 6F2, 6F5, Type 1 and single-size products
- Loading excavators with crusher and screening buckets where space is tight
- Water suppression, dust and noise monitoring available

The numbers usually speak for themselves
Fewer lorry movements
Material stays on site instead of being hauled out and new aggregate hauled in.
Lower disposal costs
Avoid landfill tax and gate fees on inert material that can be reused.
Programme certainty
Aggregate available when you need it, not when the quarry can deliver.
Carbon and compliance
Measurable reductions in transport emissions and virgin aggregate use for your project reporting.

Permits, exemptions and end-of-waste
Crushing waste material is a regulated activity. We help clients confirm that the right permissions are in place before a machine arrives, including:
- Mobile plant permits for crushing and screening (Part B under the Environmental Permitting Regulations in England and Wales; Part C under the Pollution Prevention and Control (Industrial Emissions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2013)
- Waste exemptions or permits for treating and reusing material on site (for example T7 and U1 exemptions in England and Wales, and the equivalent registrations in Northern Ireland)
- Quality Protocol / end-of-waste procedures so recycled aggregate can be used as a product
- Noise and vibration control to BS 5228 and Section 61 consents where required
- Non-road mobile machinery emission standards, including London's NRMM Low Emission Zone
